Your Internship

1. What do you hope to learn or discover about the "adult" world of work while you are at your internship?

I hope to discover that work is not s grueling as people make it to be. I am pretty sure not all jobs consist of having to sit in a cubicle and file papers or do something on the computer. I want to know that someone can actually have fun at their job and enjoy it. Like my mom said "Make sure you find a job that you want to do and you can wake up in the moring wanting to go your job."

2. What do you hope to learn or discover about yourself and your identity while you are at your internship this semester?

I want to discover the type of person I am when I have to do work since I have never had a job before. I want to learn to control habits that may not be acceptable in the work force such as procrastination.

3. What goals do you have for yourself for your internship experience?

My main and most important goal is to not procrastinate with my internship project because it will take me the entire time to finish it. I also want to build a relationship with my mentor(get on their good side). Another goal is to stay positive because most likely i will be doing something thing that I really don't want to do like file some papers or a job like that. These are all of my goals for internship this semester.
