I think that the internet definitely has affected the way people approach democracy. One site in particular is you tube where views have access to thousands of videos dealing with the presidential election. In my opinion, i think you tube is the decider. It can sway your opinion either which way. I really think the internet is responsible for how people approach democracy. I was reading an article where this man named Ivor Tossell was discussing how you tube has become an outlet for democrats and republicans to have a voice about this election.


I think putting the internet in its historical context is completely agreeable. The internet is a place that can be accessed by anyone who wants to use it. Democracy is a form of government where the power is held by the people. The internet does just that. The internet is for the people, by the people.
